  11. This archive is a BIG update to my previous ones,
  12. and it is also the first Aminet release!
  13.  
  14. A whole bunch of icons  have been added since the
  15. latest  release  on the  ProWB  homepage. I  will
  16. continue  to update the  archive sporadically.  I
  17. have  not much  spare time  anymore  to spend  on
  18. creating  icons,  so you'll just  have to have  a
  19. little patience.
  20.  
  21. Some  of  these  icons  are  just  redesignes  of
  22. already existing ProWB icons, others are composed
  23. of  bits and pieces from  other ProWB icons, some
  24. are  `bugfixed'  versions from  icons from  other
  25. packages  by  different  authors.  And there  are
  26. ofcourse some own designs present 8).
  27.  
  28. I use  the icons  in  the `DefIcons' drawer  with
  29. DOpus 5  filetypes.  I use DOpus  as a  WorkBench
  30. replacement (BUY DOpus 5.8 and try it,  you won't
  31. regret it!!!), so I'm free to makeup any deficons
  32. I want for an unlimited number of files. Just  to
  33. say  that they  probably  won't  be  used by  the
  34. `DefIcons'  patch that  comes with  NewIcons V4 -
  35. unless  you modify  the  prefs  file  accordingly
  36. ofcourse 8).

  39. If  all the  icons look like  little squares  you
  40. need to install the fabulous NewIcons patch which
  41. can be  found in aminet:util/wb or  on the  ProWb
  42. support site.

  44. The  ProLite  basic set  (with  all the  standard
  45. system  icons in the  same style can be  found in
  46. the  aminet:pix/icon subdirectory or in the ProWb
  47. support site at:

  51. When  installing these icons  make sure you don't
  52. simply  copy the  icons over  the old  ones, this
  53. will  result in loss of  essential Tooltypes. You
  54. should  use  the  copynewicon  utility  from  the
  55. NewIcons archive.

  58. Many thanks must go to  Eric for pointing out  to
  59. me that I used the wrong shadow pen with my icons
  60. and therefore  the RemoveAA  utility didn't  work
  61. properly on my icons.  Thanks Eric for correcting
  62. them!  (Remember to use the Grey150 color for the
  63. shadows!)   If  there  are  still  any   problems
  64. concerning this, don't hesitate to e-mail me!

  66. Finally,  ALL the  credits  must go to Eric,  for
  67. without   him   there   would  be   no   ProWB!!!
